F R E S H CLASS OFFICERS: Cleft to rightj Gaylord Smith, presidentg Tom Segovia, treasurer: Charles Dickens, vice-president: Judy Briggs, secretary, On September 13, 87 bashful freshmen entered the halls of BHS for their first contact with high school work. Dur- ing the second week of school they elected their class of- ficers as shown above with Barbara Dosson representing the class in the student council. It didn't take long for this class to look upon me as their school mascot, but they were quite a shock to me because this was the largest class to enter Breckenridge High in my whole lifetime. In fact the class was so large it took three advisers to handle it - Robert Bean, Miss Patricia O'Ma1ley, and Otto Bacon. 27
