After second hour rhe yudenrs mode their woy ro rhe theater for rhe annual rolenr show, hosted by Beth Wisely and Neil Dorrz Bryan T-Bone Tyner end his rappin' group, Two Plus Jew. won firy prize for their rop-pin’ perodies of Ms. Fruen and rhe hockey reom The show definitely whetted rhe opperiries of rhe students for rhe day’s evenrs. Following rhe talent show, yudents boarded rhe buses, and about forty- five minures later arrived or Hyland Park. There were mony activities available. A few srudenrs chose cross-country skang, whrfe others simply sot in rhe lodge and drank hot chocolate Still others tried sledding, or organized reams for snow football and soccer. From rhe rime the buses arrived. Mr. Severn ond Ms. Young cooked the special mid winter picnic, defying the cold and rhe bitter wind. The day ended with on outdoor coronation. Each condidare received o cup of snow, wirh rhe winners' cups having candy in them There were mony cheers as Charlie Poach ond Scroh Fongmon were declared Kdg ond Queen.
