Look this wayl Here is the second ring-Middle School. It is populated by mysterious harlequins acting out their own version of the show. Here, in the second ring, young performers adjust to the increased pressure and become accustomed to more freedom and responsibitlity. This ring's enigmatic air may seem confusing, but if Middle School is observed closely, similarities to other rings become apparent. The homework that is constantly complained about, but seems to get done magically, the friends that stand whispering in the halls, and the enchanting enthusiasm for sports are all echoes of the other rings. These mischievous harlequins combine all this with their own spirit and create a totally separate world. Many of the actors wear similar costumes, but on special, much-loved days, the ring comes alive with vibrant cowboys and girls, teeny-boppers and greasers. and ghosts and goblins. Come, see this ring, and wonder at its curiosities. Its spirit will not fail to amaze. TO THE SHOW ... Army fatigue . Mr. Phillip ?!

Watch as the first ring becomes full of frenzied activity, with students rushing between the pumpkin hunt and their annual costume parade. This holiday also illustrates the creative side of the ring. Join in the fabrication of paper mache pumpkins, construction paper witches, and tissue paper ghosts. Lower School is easily distinguished from the other two rings by its activities. What other act consists of a weekly swish and spit day. original puppet plays, and special homework days? Moving right along, we come to the third ring-the Upper School. Here, we enter another facet of circus life. These performers are all jugglers. With heavy loads, they balance both fun and work, usually without dropping anything. It is a skillful task, for here we have year-round motion. There are pep-fests. where the blue and gold spirit, epitomized by the cheerleaders, pervades all. Then come sports events, and teams sweeping on to victories! The next act contains students dancing to such bands as Cats Under the Stars” and Sweet Taste of Africa.” To balance all this action, everyone supports each other to keep the ring from toppling. The Upper School performers are dedicated artists-, they work hard to achieve their goals in their work. The jugglers manage notes, tests, and papers. They sit through hours of lectures and still can turn to their teachers as friends. It is a beautiful ring, in this respect, for encouragement abounds, and students join to applaud themselves in the end. A Halloween costume can't inhibit concentration. THAT NEVER ENDS ... 5
