Bradford placed fifth Y, as an individual in Regional and second in district. Team captain Bruce Bradford with a score of 156 and David Oelfke with a score of 163, were selected as All District players in boys' golf. Bradford had a season average of 77.583, He set a new school re- cord standing with the other two he holds. Other members of the boys team were David Oelfke, Keith McKneely, Billy Langston, Billy Oelfke, Dan Richards , Sandy Davis , john Faulkner, David Turner, Mike Meath, Tony Knight, james Harper, Bobby Rod, Gordon Tullos, Brad Shaw. Angela Richards, of the girls team placed in dis- trict with a score of 11045 and f97j. The girls really improved in every game, said Tullos . Buccettes The girls track team, coached by Jeanette Sciba, set several new records and won four track meets. jean Mardis had a 10.67 in the 80- yard hurdle, and Lau- ra Mozingo hit 5'7 in the high jump. At a district meet Susan Terrasas, Van Ste- vens, jean Mardis, and Gail Sanders had a 49-79 in the 440- yard relay. In the 880-yard re- lay Christi Horstman, Van Stevens, jean Mardis , and Gail Sanders had a l:46.47. In the re- gional meet Brenda Majors, Lisa Wilker- son, and johnita Davis ran the mile relay in 4:10. One of the highlights of the year was win- ning district. Twelve members thus quali- fied for regionals where jean Mardis Won fourth place in the hurdles, Katy Kooce, fifth in dis- cus, and Laura Mo- zingo first in the high jump. Mozingo par- ticipated in the State Meet and won third place.
