Craig May was first in boys B singles, Leigh Ann Herr- mann first in girls B sin- gles , Leigh Ann and Dorinda jung first in girls A dou- bles, and Robert Earle and Danny Larson second in boys A doubles. At the El Campo meet, May was second in B singles, Susan Spivey second in girls singles, Tim Forse and john Hernandez first in B doubles, and Guy Doane and Sara O'Leary made conso- lation finals . The team practiced Monday through Thursday after school starting Workouts during sixth period class. Van Calvin was coach. Bradford placed fifth Y, as an individual in Regional and second in district. Team captain Bruce Bradford with a score of 156 and David Oelfke with a score of 163, were selected as All District players in boys' golf. Bradford had a season average of 77.583, He set a new school re- cord standing with the other two he holds. Other members of the boys team were David Oelfke, Keith McKneely, Billy Langston, Billy Oelfke, Dan Richards , Sandy Davis , john Faulkner, David Turner, Mike Meath, Tony Knight, james Harper, Bobby Rod, Gordon Tullos, Brad Shaw. Angela Richards, of the girls team placed in dis- trict with a score of 11045 and f97j. The girls really improved in every game, said Tullos .
