Life's Kaleidoscope The image in the mirror is a mosaic of many individual images all combining to form the whole: getting hopelessly lost the first Week of school, dashing through the parking lot in pouring rain, yelling until hoarse in the last two minutes of a football game, buying carnations for a friend in front of the cafeteria, practicing a solo ove and over, laughing in the halls , trying to learn how to sleep and study at the same time, wishing Mondays were against the law. These images and thousands more group, break apart, and regroup to form a brightly-colored kaleidoscope of the year. If 3 L D

Discos Big Saturday Night The popularity of discos was attributed to the over- whelming success of Sat- urday Night Fever star- ring john Travolta. Discos sprung up for adults as well as teen- agers. Probably the most 'popular place to be on Friday and Saturday night is The Music Machine, a non-alcholic disco de- signed to give high school people a place to get away from the pressures of parents, principals, and homework. Adult supervi- sion is carried on from afar: so, unless a rule is broken or common courte- sy is disobeyed, one might never know anyone else was there except friends and casual acquaintances. Lights, music, ear- drums screaming for help, people on the dance floor writhing to the beat of the music, all were a part of the disco scene. B
