One of the many things that went on during the lunch hour is the sale of t- shirts and jerseys by the Latin Club. They sold the t-shirts and jerseys to raise money for projects. Latin Club also sold spirit links this year. Spirit links had been a tradition with the school for a long time. The Student Council was also in on the fund raising idea. They sold carnations for a Sl each. The flowers were delivered to the per- son for whom they were ordered during study hall. The Student Council sold tickets to the football games . The student tick- ets were sold for Sl and bus tickets were sold for 50 cents . The bus tickets to out of town games were Sl . The Medical Careers Club QMCCQ sold roses and carnations for Homecom- ing. The roses sold for Sl .75 and the carnations sold for Sl . MCC spon- sor, Danny Gioviale, thought of a new idea. I-Ie sold bunches of stems for 50 cents a bunch. aj Ricky Autry, Kelly Hanks, and Darrell Garcia take time to relax during lunch. bl Robert Silvia, Michael Barron, and Terry Mills enjoy a brisk game of volleyball. cj jennifer White sells a yearbook during her lunch period. dj David Boney and Scott Russell take a break at lunch on benches outside the Library.

Teachers , although kept busy with grad- ing assignments and preparing the next days work, still find time for some relax- ation and fun. Some teachers found relaxation and fun by sponsoring clubs or activities . For ex- ample Alan Lewis sponsors and advises the Student Council. Danny Gioviale, known to students as Mr. G , is the ju- nior Class sponsor. He helps set up fund raising activities for the junior-Senior prom. Another teacher, Phil Toups, is the sponsor of the new Ski-Club. aj Harold Mahan and other local residents enjoy them- selves while at the state fair at Dallas. by Working on class notes is jimmy Moore . cj Diana Jenigan enjoys free-time in the library. dj Checking bookkeeping papers is Dorothy Howard.
