3,1 ff ,N . T, ,db yr .Wm ' Tests Mean Hours Of Study One of the things, students have done all year is study for tests. They studied in many different ways including going to the library, to a friend's house, and sometimes just staying in one's own room. Going to the library was by far the best of the three because there were many study resources there and, most of the time, there was peace and quiet to concentrate. Elsewhere, less work might be done, but there was usually more fun. .,-e K' i tiff --bl' A r-A' xx ti? '55 - ,ff X , ,. n .1 .1- 1' 221

A- ti if ji F-, Many classes used the library including English and history classes in which major projects were research paper and re- ports . Librarians were Peggy Borchers, Pat Shaw, Willie Poe, Arnezer Preston, and Theresa Laughlin. One of these ladies was always in the library. They occasionally had prob- lems with people sneaking in at lunch and thefts with approxi- mately 300 books stolen from the shelves. Many students also did not put up the microfilm after.: using it. Aside from these problems the library ran smoothly. The library hours permitted students to study before school or in the afternoon.
