Students Return Students were up early for their first day of school signing yearbooks in the cafeteria or just standing around talking with their friends . The campus was filled with bright new clothes and school books while stu- dents renewed friends and talked excitedly of sum- mer activities . The freshmen had mixed reactions , some feeling out of place, many ner- vous, and others at ease. Schedules were received in the class rooms ac- cording to the students' last names . They were compared with others the rest of the day amid sad- ness when a friend wasn't in class and happiness when they were . Most were glad to be back but not for the school work involved. s - 5 i lb- es...9e,i55 .Q ,ff Mx me-1? 1
