junior Who's Who Jojo Allen was on the Student Conmcil three years, and he was class president freshman, sophomore, and junior years. He was class favorite as sophomore and junior. He was in A Cappella Choir two years and played basketball three years and baseball one year. David Bonorden won merit awards in geometry and Trigonom- etry-Elementary Analysis. He was a two-year Student Council member and has played football three years, one on varsity. He has spent two of this three years in track on the varsity, and has ' ' played baseball two years . George Boozalis was a National Honor Society member receiving merit awards in English I,II, Algebra II, geometry, biology, Chemistry I, Band II,Ill, and UIL science fair. He placed first in the Zoology-Botany division of the Houston Science and Engineer- ing Fair, won a U.S. Navy Intemational Science Fair award, se- lected to summer science program for high ability secondary school students at UT Austin Southern Methodist University, and Hardin-Simmons University, and was selected to attend the Ener- gy Science Seminar at UT Austin. He was a three-year member of the Symphonic Band, stage band, and orchestra. He has made All-district, All-region in band three years and All-area two years. Senior Who's Who Karen Stewart was valedictorian, Outstanding student in English, Foreign Language , and Math, Captain of drill team and three-year member of drill team, and vice-president and two-year member of Latin Club. She was in National Honor Society two years and in junior Who's Who . She was drill team Little Sister of the Year, Clute Optimist Youth of the Day, and DAR Good Citizen. Her merit awards were in English, fiveg foreign lan- guage, three, math, three, science, three, social studies, two and UIL Ready Writing . She was a member of first place teams in Bee County Col- lege contest twice . jeff Whitaker was a National Merit Scholarship Finalist, mem- ber of the National Honor Society, JETS Club, and on the Bee County College Brazoswood social science contest teams. Jeff won seven merit awards. Susan Williams was an honor graduate . She was on drill team two years, in band one year, in National Honor Society two years, honor roll four years, and received merit awards in American History, Typing I, and College Prep. s., s Karlene Zeitler received the Outstanding Homemaking Student Award, - FI-IA Sweetheart, and the drill team Little Sister of the Year Award. Keary Castleberry was a two-year varsity basketball letterman winning All-district, All-Brazoria County, and Most Valuable Player at the Brazosport College Tournament. He was selected to Boys State and National Honor Society. He was a member of Po- litical Science , Chemistry, and Latin clubs. Merit awards were World Geography and Physical Education. junior Who's Who Melissa Button was a member of drill team, Home Economics Cooperadve Education, two-year orchestra member where she won first division in solo and ensemble . French Club, honor roll, and National Honor Society. 1 Kim Collier was in Deckhands three years and president one year. She was in FTA three years and treasurer two years.
