Concerts, Tour Occupy 0rchestra's Time 5 x A The Brazoswood Or- chestra had three con- certs during the year in- cluding one with the choir. The orchestra's main money-making project was the selling of acrylic decorations at which they earned 354,100 for their spring tour. The spring tour was a three-day trip to San Antonio. The group ate at Casa Rio, went up the Tower of Americans , spent an afternoon at Brackenridge Park, and presented concerts. Ten members of the orchestra made All-State and spent four days in Dallas. They were Mark Evans, first year, Allen Ambuhl, first year, Ke- vin Gardner, first year, Kelly Lamb, second year, Tony Knight, sec- ond year, Andri Friedli, G aJRenai Knight, Trudy Heim- bigner, Elaina Green, Georgia Mashburn, and Tony Knight work hard in rehearsals during school. bl Colleen Whitmore practices while Ray Palmer and Paul Van- derWal relax for a minute. cj Gary Wilson, Tony Knight, A1- len Ambuhl, and Sara Grether practice for concerts . dj Lisa Johnston, Gregg Smith, janiel Austin, Tony Knight, Renai Knight, Andri Friedli, and Angela Wiehe are the orchestra officers. The orchestra also re- ceived new concert uni- forms this year. The boys uniforms were black tuxedos , and the girls were long blue skirts and blouses.
