Science and math The BHS science curriculum consists of Chemistry l and ll, Biology l and ll, and Physical Science, ln biology studies five students worked on bacterial pop- ulation studies in the new special projects room for advanced students. In this room are housed a new bacter- ialogical hood and a PB-3 scope Qfor physiological studiesj which have added greatly to the biology program. Chemistry Club members met at night and worked on such projects as the ratio of mass to charge on an electron, and levitation using eleetrimagnetie force. lVlu Alpha Theta, the national honorary math society, became affiliated with the Junior English Technological Society QJETSJ. Mem- bers took part in various competitions throughout the state.
