Spring bands After the first semester, the Marcli- ing Band broke up into two separate groups: the Concert and Symphonic: Bands. Auditions were held and 77 players were selected for the Sym' phonie Hand. The remaining 66 stu- dents were the members of the Concert Band. The spring season found the band members busy with contests and competitions. All bands combined again to play at the Chili Supper Con- W cert and graduation Ceremonies. The A-Choir put together the musical HHIIUXDOON in january, Evvrything about the ewrit sparkle-d. espc-1-ially the- singing. For thi-ir annual tour, Fort Worth, Dallas, and points in bf:- twoun were visitcd. Concerts wvru givvn at many ol' lhf-sv plac-cs. Tho First Frvcport National Bank hosted this singers for a concert at Christmas. 'lfhv group also gawk a conccfrt for the studvut body and ther r ommunity.
