The score held and the 1962 Exporters walked off the field victorious over a team which was later to advance to the finals at Austin and place 2nd in the State for AAAA football teams. The Jackets scored first just before the end of the lst quarter and threatened to score again two more times, but a determined and hustling Jerry Oliver stopped both advances. ln the second half the Exporter offensive unit moved the ball well, but could not score until half way through the fourth quarter when Pinky Anders threw a 26 yard pass to end John Adams and then with the addition of the PAT the Exporters Won the game.
