Band Officers President Vice President Dianna .lemela Charles Verm Sergeant at Arms Secretary Jay Clark Rhonda Hammermiller lt was an outstanding year for the Brazos Cougar Band. The Marching Band participated at the Blinn Marching Festival and won best in Class A. At the U.I.L. Marching Contest in Victoria they rated Supe- rior. They also marched in the Austin County and Fort Bend County Fair Parades. The Concert Band gave a Christmas Concert. a Spring Concert. U.l.L. Concert and Sight Reading Contest where they made a ll and a I respectively. Many of these students also participated in Solo and Ensemble Competition and won medals. The Brazos Stage Band also had a highly successful year winning first place at U.l.L. Ensemble Competi- tion and the Sealy Jazz Festival. They also placed sec- ond at the W.C..l.C. .lazz Festival.
