All areas are carpet withthe exception of all wet areas, Kitchen, Gym. Locker Rooms, Stage and Shop areas. Vinyi asbestos floor tile is used in the- Kitchen. The stage and gym floor are wood. Ceramic fioor tile is usedat all wet areas. Finished concrete is used in all Shop areas. The entire building is air conditioned with theiexception, of Shop areas. Super graphics provide an accent in the Student Activity Center which carries on throughout the buitds ing. The Marching Band participated at the Blinn Marching Festival and won best in Class A. At the U.I.L. Marching Contest in Victoria they rated Supe- rior. They also marched in the Austin County and Fort Bend County Fair Parades. The Concert Band gave a Christmas Concert. a Spring Concert. U.l.L. Concert and Sight Reading Contest where they made a ll and a I respectively. Many of these students also participated in Solo and Ensemble Competition and won medals. The Brazos Stage Band also had a highly successful year winning first place at U.l.L. Ensemble Competi- tion and the Sealy Jazz Festival. They also placed sec- ond at the W.C..l.C. .lazz Festival.
