Miller Valedictorian Salutatorikm ss:-non cuss orrncsns Julia J. Gunnison Secretary-Treasurer John Bussing Joanne Evans President Vice-president CLASS HISTORY Looking backward over our four years of high school, we recall many fond memories and gay times. During our freshman year we found ourselves at Senior High with the upper classmen due to the burning of Junior High. Thus we had one entire year to accustom ourselves to the life of a Senior High student. Along came our sophomore year with our class sponsors, Miss Pierce and Mr. Melbourne. Jack Rentschler became our president, Jack Metz, vice-president, and Pat Pell, secretary-treasurer. Betty Dowell wrote appropriate words to the popular tune of '47, Five Minutes More. We were proud when Yvonne Schultz was crowned Basketball Queen of '47. September, l948, found us downstairs in room 25 as juniors, ready and eager to handle the responsibilities of a junior lass. We started the ball rolling by re-electing Jack Rentschler as president. Judy Gunnison was vice-president, and Pat Pell C .. secretary-treasurer. During this year we showed our superior salesmanship by crowning Joanne Evans Football Queen. On May l7 we accomplished our greatest feat by presentnig our Butterfly BalI which was enjoyed by all. Finally, we entered the last lap of the journey, reigning in room 26 as seniors. Sharing the honors of class officers were John Bussing, presidentg Joanne Evans, vice-president, and Judy Gunnison, secretary-treasurer. We expressed our regret in leaving by our class song written by Dolores Lister to the tune of Till We Meet Again. Again, as seniors, we captured the football crown as Betty Smith became Football Queen of '48. Thus, we have completed our years at B. H. S. Years that are full of fond memories never to be forgotten. Sensors See Old Santa X.,': X X E L Q1 X X X X Q S X XX K in S xx XX Qs X Edxiixggtxsxfs . NWN sew.
