According to Merriam- Webster gross means 'glaringly noticeable. Students at Braymer use the Word '1g'ross constantly in definition and dis- tinction. Strange habits, verbal expres- sions, food, facial expressions, odors, and eating habits are just a few of those things associated with being 'grossf' Polled students responded that they were 'grossed out by: Kim Cramer: Someone puking all over creation. Penny Byers: Burping at the dinner table. Dana Still: People mixing red and green Jell-o together. Kelli Goll: People picking their noses. Joe Hawkins: Skinning' a cat that's been in formaldehyde. Gross is a universal Word used to describe anyone and anything that is definitely 'glaringly noticeable. Advanced biology students Julie Woodward and Jerry Hunziger determine the sex of a cat to be dissected. Its hard to believe that Joe Hawkins is actually going to eat this stuff he helped concoct. 86 S FOSS
