, oring Lazy days and boring work can cause a big snooze. Minutes seem like hours, the teacher's a bore, your friend sits clear across the room, and your eyelids get heavier by the second. All those are reasons kids find to take a big snooze during what they call a drag of a class. Losing interest in a certain subject or certain teacher is normal for a lot of kids. Laying your head down on your desk, hiding behind your notebook or slouching down in your' seat so the teacher can 't see you are just a couple ways kids get comfortable to take their daily snooze. For some strange reason teach- ers seem to find ways of seating friends clear across the room from each other. There is no possible way of communication except through notes or talking and then you get the teachers' dirty looksg or, worst yet, they yell at you in front of the whole class. Being up late doing a report, attending a ballgame, or working: then returning the next morning to the routine grind can ca use a per- son to be a little lazy. Some students commented that besides snoozing they do other things to pass the boring time. Chad McElWee: doodles Joe Ha wkins: spaces off Scott Moore: wa tches girls Mr. Glasgow: Waits for the bell to ring So, it's not very unusual ifyou Walk in to a class and see a few kids who seem to be saying this is BORING.' BORING! An English class discussion lulls Christal Snider to sleep. 80 oring
