The fourth grade contained 31 industrious students. They learned such things as multiplication and division. In science, one unit was on sound. All the fourth graders made original instruments which were quite interesting. In social studies Missouri history was the highlight of the year. ' Even though fourth grade was harder than previous years, the students all looked forward to moving onward and upward. 4 . 6 Students work earnestly as Mrs. Clod- . felter oversees. .sg ' W' A2 'NN 3 g N vm gm as - . ..,.. , .:.. Our regular schedule of ma th, social studies, science, spelling, reading and English helped us to get ready to enter sixth grade. Bake sales were held to earn money for our end-of-the year field trip to Worlds of Fun. Little visitors to our room this year were gerbils and fish which were neat to observe. Adoptive Grandparents was a new program that seemed to be greatly enjoyed by our adoptive grand- parents at the nursing home. M , The fifth and sixth grade basketball tournament helped us learn a few fundamentals of basketball. Although the holiday season is in the air the' lifth . graders remain on task. V . .wifi O
