utting on the rom The traditional Junior-Senior Prom was held April 4, 1986, in the high school gymnasium. The junior class chose Heaven as their theme. The theme was carried out with stars, balloons, and lights dangling from fishnet. Streamers were blue and white and an atmosphere ofheaven evaded the premises. Prior to the dance the juniors honored the seniors with a banquet of turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, dressing, corn, cherry, and blueberry cheese- cake for dessert. Seniors Kelly Smith and Chad Snider were crowned queen and king by the 1985 king and queen, Clay James and Nancy Burns. Music was provided by The American Mobile Sound from Kansas City. 1 iv' ff The music mood is captured by Scotty Moore as he Hams around. This is no fun, reflects seniors Jodie Stone, Ronda Wiper, and Laurie Burriss as they decorate the stage. String is cut for stringing stars and balloons by Debbie Goll, Tricia Sheetz, and Julie Woodward. .18 .
