Graduation Graduation will be a very special day which l hope to remember all of my life, It will mean saying goodbye to some very special friends who have shared my ups and downs. lt's saying goodbye to exciting and busy times in 4-I-I and the Imperial County Fair. My FFA successes and Mr. Kliewer will afford special memories. Graduation means saying goodbye to some unique and crazy teachers. many of which I would give an A+ for teaching me well, inspiring me, and for having the courage and the strength to put up with mel Most of all, Mrs, Presley deserves the best for being there to guide me and so many others . IO, ll, IL Varsity B Club Future Plans: I plan to attend a four year college and major in student counseling. The Winning Feeling The sun's hot rays were striking my face as l was awaiting the next batter. Beads of sweat were trickling down the sides of my face as l heard the crowd cheering in the stands. The palms of my hands were sweating and my heart was beating fast. The batter stepped up to the plate and stood waiting for my pitch. The first pitch was a low, inside strike. The next pitch was a high. outside ball. The batter fouled the third pitch out. She then stepped out of the box and waited for a sign from her coach. She entered the box and was anxious to hit. l threw her a change-up. Strike three! was called. My teammates shook my hand and patted me on the back as we walked off the field. The winning feeling is a feeling of success and achievement. It makes me feel proud and encourages me to keep trying. Hard work, self-confidence and a competitive challenge help me achieve what l strive for. l feel satisfied when l accomplish a goal that I have worked and practiced so very hard for. The winning feeling goes beyond the arena of sports. lt also affects my life as a student.
