Commissioner of Art, S Club Future Plans: My goal is to attend the University of Southern California or the University at Santa Barbara. I am undecided about my maior - maybe something to do with foreign relations with Mexico. Moving Ahead - Together Many things are happening to us in our adolescent lives. One of the most important things that affects our daily lives is moving ahead. Each day we grow as individuals and as a class. On June ll, l987. our high school years will come to an end and our adulthood will begin. We will be faced with many challenges and responsibilities. Many of us will venture on to college and others will remain in Brawley. No one is able to predict the future, but hopefully we are prepared to face it. As we move ahead in our lives, we will look back and recall good times and happy memo- ries. We will always cherish the wonderful and lasting friend- ships we made at Brawley Union High School. ln ten years we will have our first class reunion. We will see how each of our lives has changed. We will all have new friends. our own families, and our own direction, but the great times we shared with our high school friends will still hold a special place in our hearts. Even though we keep moving ahead, we will constantly be recall- ing the past that we shared. One of the best feelings! know is waking up in the morning, knowing that yesterday's fight is slept away and everything is now better. Every morning gives me a chance to play a new role. The morn- ing is like the beginning of a new life itself. No matter what the day holds, I feel self-motivated to take on a new challenge and accomplish something. Through pain, suffering, frustration, love, early morning exams, finals, tremendous telephone bills, or just plain black moods 4 never give up: just go to bed and wake up the next morning and take a good look at all the opportunities this new day brings to you.
