The Interact Lip-Sy Conte THE INTERACT CLUB LIP SINC CONTEST AND DANCE Something new and ex- citing that went on this year was the Lip-Sinc Contest. The contest and dance was spon- sored by The Interact Club and led by advisor. Ms. Lisa Byrd, the mem- bers put on what seem to have been the best dance of the year. It was well attended and everyone had a great evening of fun. There were twelve en- tries in the contest and all gave great perfor mances The first place winners were Adrienne Reyes and Adrian Sanga as Sonny and Cher sec ond place went to Al bert Aguilar David An derson and Jack Kellum as the Beastie Boys third place winners were Eric Allen Mark Smith Juan Soto and Sam Marquez as Poi son and Mrs. Mike Rodriguez and Family by: Mr. Page Sponsored 5

Graves and Barniske, Optometrists, Inc. a To Omega As the year progressed the annual Spring Fling sponsored by the A.S.B. became an anticipated event on campus. March l4th finally arrived and students and staff dressed in togas to attend the Roman style dance in the gym. The sounds of the band Romeo filled the gym from 9:00 p.m. to I2.00 a.m., and everyone danced through the evening. There were two contests held - one for the best maie and female togas, and the other for the best lip-sinc. The evening provided for a fun and eventful night of entertainment.
