N-1 The '86 - '87 pep rallies included a lot of spirit with the Class of '87 leading the way! There were plenty of smiles, intersting games, and of course, recognition of those who made us proud to be a part of Brawley Union High School and all it stands for!

Pep rallies started off with a real bang in I986. Pep Commissioner, Shannon Faria, organized each pep rally to include games, skits, and plenty of fun and spirit. Some of the games included an interclass relay race which required each participant to eat and then belch into the microphone as loud as hefshe could, another game was a balloon blowingfpopping contest. Class of '87 Powder Puff Coaches were: Chris Brazeel, Andy Pend- Iey and George Stone The Wildlife Of '87 The I986 Powder Puff Football Game turned out to be one of the best ever played. This year there were a few things done differently. For one thing, there was no gear and also girls on the basketball team were allowed to play. There was one thing that didn't change - the Seniors won, as usual, with a score of I2 - 8! When asked the Senior coaches replied This was one of the best teams ever put together at B U HS They all played together and they won the game together The Juniors did play a tough hard hitting game but they II have to walt another year to taste victory x le F
