Winter Sports Banquet l987 The Winter Sports Banquet was held on Thursday, March 5th in the B.U.H.S. cafeteria. Athletic boosters, coaches, families and friends, all took time from their busy schedules to honor members of the boys and girls basketball teams, the wrestling team, soccer team, and cheerleading squads. An especially memorable moment came when basketball player Tammy VandenBosch was awarded the special Tony Sullivan Hustle trophy. Tony, a three-year member of Wildcat girl's basketball team, was fatally injured in a car accident in Montana the summer of l986. The evening began with an invocation by student Steven Parker, a welcoming by Mr. John Lamat, B.U.H.S. Athletic Director, and the distribution of the academic-athlete awards given by Deputy Principal Mr. Al Faria. Then several coaches took their turns at the podium to honor the members of their teams.
