FIGHTING FROSH FOOTBALL GOES UNDEFEATED The l986-87 Fighting Frosh Football Team had a brilliant season. Winning all of their games quite handily and only tying to arch rival Central. After coming out of retirement, Coach Hal McNaughten made a return leading an incredible freshmen team! Coach McNaughten was assisted by Pete Schoonover, Chris Casey, and Scott McNaughten. The team showed that there is no substi- tute for speed with shifty Paul Franco at tailback who rushed for over a IOO yards. All in all it was the finest of seasons Congratulations I986 87 Frosh Champ: ons' J Above: The Fighting Frosh perform at their best! Below. Some of the offensive standouts were Luis Pineda who had a great season along with first-year quarterback Joe Jimenez. Defen- sively the Cats were strong with Jason Jongeward at linebacker along with a pretty good-sized defensive line. Good luck goes to Coaches Smith and Stan- diford. Keep up the good work and have another contending Wildcat team in the fall. Keith Smith, but they never gave up trying. Above: Practice makes almost perfectl Left: What's that winning score again?
