BUHS,s Business Club served as an ad- junct to the BUHS Business Depart- ment. The club promoted business ca- reers and fellowship among students in- terested in those types of careers. The Business Club was not as active as it has been in past years, but it still fulfilled its function - helping business stu- dents find new ways of fulfilling their future careers. Day At The Fair For FF Keeping an eye on the judge is Victor Veysey as he showed his Duroc hog in the ring. Sharon Spates on the alert as a judge looks on Victor entered the hog competition at the Fair through FFA. Future Farmers of Amer- ica is one of the largest clubs on campus, and one of the few that is connect- ed to a class, or properly, classes. The Agriculture Department at BUHS in conjunction with FFA tries to train its members in vocational agriculture. The club sponsored a dance, the traditional donkey basketball game, and entered several differ- ent competitions through- out the year. ln general, the members did very well at these competitions. The big event for FFA, of course, is the California Mid-Winter Fair, held each year in February and March. This year was no exception, as the pictures on this page shows.
