Sophomores And Freshmen Strangers in the night exchanging glances. October 21, 1967, a Saturday night saw the revelry of an annual affair, the Baby Ball. Originally designated to greet the frosh into the high school by all the classes, the Baby Ball was changed last year by the class of '69 to exclude the Juniors and Seniors. All day Saturday, the Sophs worked vigorously transforming the gym into a large, colorful Carrou- sel . lt looked terrific. lt was colorful and gay with all its pinks, reds, blues, greens, oranges and purples. Along the walls were cardboard carrousel animals and as centerpieces, there were miniature carrousels. Frosh and sophs entered through a tunnel of clowns and horses before they reached the dancing and games. The Young Performers provided the entertainment for danc- ing, the games held over from last year kept the others busy all night. Everyone enioyed themselves thoroughly. 1 rv' Q If ' f ljpaznifxm Q: 51 - A 1 fi-Ai 752 2: 3 , , ' Q i Freshmen found it hard staying up past their bedtime, The throbbing beat of Steve Mitchell's drum echoed throughout the gym
