School And Full of Football Spirit September . . . By the time September came we knew our way around and were busing savoring the feel at being a year olaler and a grade higher. Freshmen were lousy Checking that they'cl made it To high school, while sophomores were glad they finally had someone to look down upon, The seniors began a new era of spirit anal good will as the largest graduating class of all ruled supreme. -M-f Even the lungs of Brawley cheerleaders were exhausted so the spirited girls took o breather ot first home football game. Snaps. Brings Out Coats and Semi Formals. LLHDD The groovy class of '70 clamored noisily with the shouts that resounded around the campus. This year's Baby Ball was an elab- orate production. The tall classic de- picting a huge carnival was well attended. Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Fresh- men football players were sold as slaves at the slave auction. The hum- ble lads did everything from sweep- ing the ground to wearing their hair in pigtails. The female masters were not only bossy but imaginative. Howard Tiger Underwood, Wildcat mascot, led pep rally. The cheerleaders scream, crowd roars, and football players grunt. The Wildcats achieved victory. 37
