Girls' Athletic Association enjogs gear Under the direction of Mrs. Eli- zabeth Smith and Mrs. Anne Wilson, the Girls' Athletic Association had a very successful year in upholding the ideals of good sportsmanship, promoting friendship among its members, and furthering athletic interests and activities. During the meetings, the girls par- ticipated in different team sports such as swimming, volleyball, volley tennis, and softball, for which they received credit points. lf 500 points were earned, the girls received a let- ter, if 700 points, GAA pin, if TOOO points, a white sweater. They may also have earned points on outside activities. The girls also participated in bake sales, bowling, skating, bike hikes, and swimming parties in the year. t 1 .S- v V Ar I.
