The club had entrants in three other contests-the Lions Club, the Optimist club, and the Sons of the Golden West, at which they took first place in rounds, The BUHS speech club was a mem- ber of the San Diego Speech League and the Calitornia State High School Speech League. Competition in these leagues took them to Claremont Col- lege and IVC for variation in compe- tition. This year they were a mem- ber of the National Forensic League. Mrs. Bellamy ladvisorl and Speech Club oft?- cers: Diana Small, Janet Williams, Susan Jor- dan, Lea Anne O'Malley, Mike Moore ond Mrs, Stout display the League Charter.
