Barbara Butler and Belinda Ulloa attended camp this last summer at Squaw Valley where the won great honors and recognition with their routine done to the music of Georgy Girl . This yeor's flagtvvirlers were Deb- bie Stevens, Sue Tapley, Janet Bur- ton, Jenniter Burton, Alice Estrada and Imogene Fitch, Along with the Maiorettes, these well-coordinated fancy tootworkers performed at half- time shows during football games and ioined the Drill Team and marching band in representing Braw- ley High in the numerous parades. Hours of devoted practice during the summer aided in their versatility.

Having spirit is difficult and hav- ing number one spirit is especially difficult, but not tor Brawley High's Varsity cheerleaders this last year, At camp they competed against many experienced cheering squads tor tive days. When camp ended they had ribbons and the coveted spirit stick to bring home. Back at Brawley High, they along with the songleaders presented our school with our mascot Willie the Wildcat , and kept BUHS spirit full of soul with exhilarating pep assem- blies, skits, cheers, and serpentines. BUHS students offered Them in- credible spirit: from waving wildcat claws to welcoming home our Bell! Cheerleaders added soul tc Cinco de Mayo. Jaki Fleming added the finishing touch to Evelyn Cohee stood by for their cues. These
