It has 22,000 square feet of floor space. There will be ample room for new equipment, as soon as the necessary funds are available. When asked for his opinion, Mr. Perkins, Auto Technology teacher, stated, lt won't be finished completely for another couple of years, but it is a definite improvement over the old shops. All vocational shops except Wood working and Drafting were moved to the new complex. The old metal shop became the teachers' lounge. The students really appreciate the new auto shop. In the future, an electricity lab will be added. 8

Registration Week Frustrated Meng After a long summer, registration week was here. 1380 students en- rolled at Brawley Union High School during the hectic week of registration. Mrs. Bidwell, the Freshmen Coun- selor, stated the new computerized system wasn't a big change, but special attention had to be given to the course numbers and student identification numbers, Although the new system was more complicated than previous years, it was more accurate and easier to use. The stu- dents have mixed emotions about the new style A.S.B. and I.
