'I' if , X 3 One of the major activities at Brashear is raising money. Because of the many organiza- tions and the numerous students attending our school. It's everyone for himself. A favor- ite is M 86 1VI's. The seniors sell them to pay for their caps and gowns, National Honor Society sold them to cut down the cost of their annual trip, and last year, students used the profits to get them to the Worlds Fair in Knoxville, Tennessee. Student Council holds dances, choir sells license plates, and the Girlls Basketball team sold hoagies last year. Everyone has their thing. Also sold this year were flowers for the City Game, and Jewelry. When all else fails have a bake sale. Bake sales provide the best way of obtaining some extra money because everything you receive is prof- it. Thanks, to our supporters. ,

vSil 3 ,M Many Clays go by when it is quite an effort just to keep your eyes open. When the temp- tation to sleep becomes overwhelming, many of us drift off into our own dreamlancl. Sleep- ing in class is something that most of us are guilty of at least once during our school years. We have many reasons for these cat naps. They include styaing up late to do homework or just recovering from a ful-filled weekend. Whatever the reason is, many people do fall asleep. They dream of their Prince Charming or princess, or how they could have gotten an A in the class they have been sleeping through! If this describes you, do not despair, just make an extra effort to be alert! JUNIORS Mr. Stephenson, Per. 3, Row I: Cleft to rightj C. Tuner, V. Robinson, T. Darby, G. Colbert. Row 2: T.
