They ended their season with a fourteen win, two loss record overall. In the league they ended with a terrific ten win and no loss year. The only losses were to Montour and South Hills. This year, because of the many seniors on the team, the position of team captain was rotated. This years most valuable player was Cathy Cater- ino. Lisa Faloon, also, had a winning pitching season. Under the guidance and coaching of Ms. Jacqueline Colwes, they had a successful season. The team had many returning players which helped lead the team to success. Tryouts begin in spring and last for a weelc. The girls that are chosen to be on the team then began to practice. Their practices are everyday after school. They work on many drills to im- prove their pitching and batting. It requires hard work and effort on the part of the entire team. When the team members were asked to tell about their most memorable moment they came up with these repliesg winning the City Champion- ship during their first year on the team, having a good season, and having Ms. Colwes as a coach. Congratulations to the Softball Team! Keep up the good world r l
