Q - 1 b s The beginning of what was to be a game to be remembered. he day Saturday, November 13. The place was South Stadium. The Brashear Bul- lets were victorious over the Westinghouse Bulldogs in the battle for the title, City League Cham- pions. This is Ron Wabby's first year as head coach and he did an excellent job of turning the team into championship material. Brashear dominated Westing- house in the first half. With Pat Capatolla running 68 yards for a touchdown, joe Carletti made the conversion kick, which made the score 7-o. Brashear didn't score again until the third quarter when Demetrius Hayes ran 73 years for their second touchdown. The kick wasn't made due to a bad snap, so the score was 13-o. The Bulldogs were finally able to score in the fourth quarter, when Tim Anderson made a one yard touch- down. There was no extra point because there was a bad snap. The score was 13-6. By that time, it was too late. Brashear had already taken the title away from Wes- tinghouse, The game was televised on QUBE, so fans who couldn't make it to the game could watch it at home. QUBE's City player of the year was Frank Slinger. Thanks to the football team for a successful and exciting year! 48 Pat Capatolla scrambles to gain extra yardage.
