They had their best season ever with a re- cord of nine wins and only two losses to Allder- dice and Langley. This year's most valuable play- er is Laurie Gormley. Their season is a tough one. They played three matches a week. These matches required extreme dedication by the play- ers, the coach, and the manager. Three of the games were rained out. Two of those games were made up. They also had a great deal of support this year. Many of the player's friends and par- ents came to watch the matches. This year in City, Joanne Nigro won a bronze medal. Nancy Armstrong captured fifth place in the singles competition. Many of the games played at City were tie breakers. Coach Street is looking forward to another good year. They already have many bright, young prospects. Many practice during the sum- mer, and some rake indoor lessons during the winter. Congratulations to this years team on their success and best of luck to next year's team.

Golf takes skill and concentration to be a good player. Golf gives you a chance to get out in the fresh air while you are able to take a brisk walk along the course between holes.
