Lisa Faloon surrounded by drums during the Jazz Band concert last spring. rashear's Crchestra and Jazz Band are two musical groups that we can be proud of. Each year these groups perform for the middle schools that feed into Brashear. This lets the musicians show off their talent as well as recruit musicians that will come to Brashear. These concerts have always been highly success- ful. The Grchestra, which consists of strings, Woodwinds, brass and percussion plays classical music along with other pop tunes such as Encl- less Love and just the Way You Are. The Jazz Band which features brass, saxophones and drums play up beat jazz and rhythm and blues. They are always a big hit during their concerts. Both of these groups are under the musical direc- tion of Mr. Nick Cheberenchiclc. He is proud of his fine musicians, and everyone at Brashear is too. 139
