There is also the chance that you won't have classes with your friends, so new friends have to be made. You're not as famil- iar with with this school as you were with your grade school and you have to learn the ropes all over again. Once the year is under way, things begin to look better. Then you see all of the things Brashear has to offer. Your freshman year is only the beginning of an exciting four years of high school, so be- come involved and enjoy it because it will all be over sooner than you think. The first day of school presents many prob- lems for Freshmen. They have to learn a whole new system. How many classes were you late for on the first day of school? Loolc- ing for rooms can be very annoying when you are not sure supposed to go. The crowds don't help either. Finding your bus can be just as difficult. Trying to find one bus out of fifty presents problems! It is also a strange feeling to know you will not have as many classes with your friends. This separation can be scary, but eventually you begin to fit in again. Meeting new people turns out to be fun and interesting, not something you dread. There are many things to learn and remember, but plenty of time to do it in! I2
