Q W - ig . Typing away doggedly is Don Alter. rashear's Newspaper staff consists of a group of hard workers who put out is- sues of the Brashear Bullet-in. This pa- per informs us of events within the school, out- side events that affect us and also contributions from students such as poetry, comments and short stories. There is also the opportunity to put in a message to a friend through the Classi- fied section. The Bullet-in gives us information, while giving us enjoyable reading material. The special Valentine's Day issue gives everyone a chance to send a message to that special someone. That issue is really full of interesting material. At just a quarter a copy, the Bullet-in is a bargain and should be purchased regularly. II3

II 5 I EARBCOK: . A smiling jennifer Seaman looks and listens attentively. ssembling a yearbook is not a job that can be done easily. It takes hard work and dedication. As soon as one book is finished planning the next book is started. There are many jobs that the staff must do to meet their deadlines. These include doing layouts, tak- ing pictures, writing copy, and typing. They have four deadlines in which to get the part of the whole staff to meet these deadlines. This year there was a major change for the staff. Ms. Neretta Troxell, who had been in charge of the yearbook staff resigned. Although on hand to help the staff with complicated matters, Ms. Troxell turned over her major duties to a new Advisor. She is Ms. Glenda Rosenberry. She works at Brashear as an English teacher. Al- though Ms. Rosenberry has never supervised a yearbook staff before, she took over and was willing to learn. Advising the photography end of yearbook is Mr. Masilunas. Selling ads and yearbooks are another job that must be done. Mrs. Judith Brant handles the advertising and monetary department.
