I Am Brantley County High Here I am, opening my doors once again for stu- dents to advance another step upward in their climb to success and the security they know they will need in the future - the future in which I will have no part, because I will have already drained myself to give them everything possible in the few short years they spent here in school. For the seniors, whose future is only a short time away, this year will be the last year that I can offer them anything from my store of facilities. For the underclassmen, there is still time to plan for the future. The gym, which is an important part of me. is a very familiar sight to physical education students, as well as to the athletes. My halls, which seem so wide when empty, become suddenly very narrow when they are filled with stu- dents changing classes or loitering during recess. The construction of the stadium has been an impor- tant accomplishment for Brantley County High this year. It is something of which all BCHS students as well as the faculty are extremely proud, because it improves greatly the appearance of my campus. As I, Brantley County High, close my doors at the end of this school year, it will be my sincere desire that seniors have made the most of their high school years. I hope to have contributed to each of your experiences in these few years that you will never forget, but will cherish forever - remembering your high school years as the best ones of your life. World of Action and Moods All BCHS students are caught up in the swiftly moving pace of school activities: clubs, magazine sales, participation in the beginner's band, election of club and class officers, and participation in constructive projects. But in the midst of the action and excite- ment of all these, is the spontaneous urge to seclude oneself from the chaotic halls or the lively park and spend a few moments in solitude, whether it be to study, meditate, talk with someone special, or just enjoy the quietness. As soon as the urge to be alone has passed, one moves once more into the lanes of student traffic, beginning to play the Hi Game” which is repeated dozens of times each day, without the slightest loss of the thrill and excitement stirred within us each time it is played. All these different actions and moods contribute to our increasing store of memories.
