World of Academics Students are constantly striving academically, whether it is to get the most out of a course or only to get another credit. Term papers, investigations, formulas, and equations are just a few of the elements that climax in the exam and then the dreaded, although longed for, day when grade cards are issued. Teachers, deadlines, and grade cuts are some of the more disturbing aspects of tlie academic world. Competition in academics is always interesting, especially when it means going to WFGA-TV in Jacksonville, Florida, to try out for the IT'S ACA- DEMIC team. We are very proud of the way BCHS was represented academically by our team. Sandy, Scott, and Glynn. Using a microscope in the lab holds a fascination for biology students. Students studying foreign languages take advantage of the facilities of the language lab, while the business department is open to students seeking training for future office work. All in all the academic world provides wonderful and everlast- ing memories for each of us. V 4? 8
