Society is an honors based club designed to reward those students who show outstanding achievement in academics. Along with attending Wednesday morning meetings, members are frequently called on to work in the cafeteria and student store. C.S.F. sponsors numerous fund raisers such as a cheese and sausage sale, the Christmas Dance and the Valentine's Day Flower Sale. At the end of the year, all active members are rewarded by an all day trip to San Francisco. Many graduating life members are also rewarded with scholar- ships at graduation. The flag girls are a special unit that Works with the band to enhance its overall appearance. They march and perform for football and basketball games. While doing this, the girls learn the aspect of working together and what it takes to be a good flag, or drill team. The flag girls have performed in the WVAL Band Jamboree, as well as the Los Gatos Christmas Parade. They work under their captain Lisa Rizzuto, who has three years experience.
