ADMINISTRATION My sincerest appreciation to the staff and student body for another excellent school year. Your loyalty, resiliency, and good humor have sustained us in the midst of rapid educational changes. We may be country , but together we can do anything! Departing seniors, I wish you success. Lost are those moments when you wanted to speak — but didn't, wanted to act — but wouldn't, did it — and probably shouldn't have. But, that is what these ole yearbooks are for ... to keep alive those feelings that were valuable, and provide a reminder for plans yet to be completed. You've been given a foundation of social and academic skills for success. What you do with this knowledge is limited only to your determination. I challenge you, to use these talents and abilities to the utmost. Branford asked for it, but society will be more demanding. i MR. OSCAR M BS — Houghton COUNSELOR Ithaca College The student is . . the most impor on the campus, students there for the institution. not a cold enrollment statistic but a flesh and blood being with feelings and like our own. not someone to be tolerated so that we can do our thing. They are our thing. not dependent on us. Rather, we are dependent on them. . . . not an interruption of our work, but the purpose of it. We are not doing them a favor by serving them. They are doing us a favor by giving us the opportunity to do so. 5
