SENIOR CLASS WILL Upon completion of our four years' sentence to the halls of Branford High School, we, the Senior Class of Nineteen Hundred and Forty-Five, being of very unsound mind and body do establish this as our last will and testament: SECTION I Item I: To the Junior Class we bequeath our dignity. Since it has been used only on special occasions, with a little polishing, it will be as good as new. Item II: To Professor Norris we leave a quieter and more peaceful '45-'46 year made possible only by the generous departure of the aforesaid Seniors. Item III: Also to the Junior Class we leave our front seats in chapel and any chewing gum stuck underneath the seats. Item IV: To the Junior Class we leave our loud voices and record for tardiness. Mrs. Hill will need someone to fuss at next year, too. SECTION II Item I: Individual members of the Senior Class requested that the following gifts be bequeathed to the not-so-importanf inmates of Branford High School: I, Jack Roberts, leave my cracked cracks to anyone who wants them. If that person does not show up they are to be posted in The Buccaneer next year in the Blank Thought Column. I, Sylvia Turner, leave my black make-up and red handkerchiefs to Eugene Lynch to use in the Senior play next year. I, Rebecca Puryear leave my book on How To Held Your Man to Leona Hall. Just keep him under lock and key. I, Frances Dorsett, leave my beautiful big eyes to Belva Adkins. Hers are almost fluttered out. I, Perry Geiger, leave my well worn path to 'Fessor's office to Bobby Fletcher. You will find arrows marking every turn. I, Margaret Phillips, leave all the boy hardware that I have collected over a period of years to anyone who thinks they have the strength to carry it. I, Martha Dean Dempsey, leave my height and gracefulness to Ivey Deen O'Steen. I, Pauline Barker, leave my bright remarks and wit to the Junior Class. Don't rush! There are plenty to go around. I, G. W. Sullivan, leave my report cards to my teachers with the hope that my grades will haunt them forever. I, Thelma Lee, leave my swing to anyone with a porch large enough to hold it. I, Mary Ellen Dorsett, leave to Evelyn Cribbs my ability to ask Mr. Norris the right question at the wrong time. I, Elizabeth Jones, leave my good grades and brain to George Fletcher, but handle with care—it is almost worn out. I, Leon Sims, leave my presidential headaches to President Roosevelt and my athletic ability to Dick Stanley. I, Faye Daughtry,'leave my cute baby actions and screaming fits to Maxine Bennett. I, Flora Mae Townsend, will my love for soldiers in general to Maxine Barnett and Valdana Byrd. I, Iris Richardson, leave nothing. I'm going to keep all my things for myself. I, Marvin Hunt, leave my adoration of the army to Avance Blow. -FRANCES DORSETT, Testator.
