. i2! A DEDICATION Thanks to Mr. Youse. who has guided our footsteps to the crossroads, we are ready and willing to take the big step— a step into the future. Few instructors have ever contributed so great- ly to build a class which is not only mentally and physically alert, but also morally straight. Through his lectures as our senior high cultures instructor, he helped us to understand not only ourselves, but also those around us. His sugges- tions and advice as a senior class advisor helped to make successes out of our undertakings. Mr. Youse ' s qualities do not stop in the class- room, but continue on to the athletic field, where he has served as one of Bullets ' most successful athletic counsellors. W hether in the classroom or on the athletic field, he has helped more than any other individ- ual to shape our character. Before taking our big step forward, the senior class, especially the staff of the Tracer, would like to pause momentarily to dedicate the 1967 Tracer to Mr. Larry Youse.

FOREWORD You are about to gaze through something new, something original. You are about to look at a different sort of book— the ' 67 Tracer. You are about to see photos of our athletes during both the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat. You are about to see our various organizations at work in both successful and not-so-successful endeavors, in and out of school. You are about to see our faculty and administration at work, as 700 students see them each day. You are about to see shots of classroom discussions and lectures which are all unrehearsed and unplanned. These ideas, together with countless others, present you with an accurate picture of our school as it exists day after day— not just the happiest, glossiest moments of these days, but also several of the more unhappy moments. The theme of our Tracer is The Crossroads of Life. which is very self-explanatory, and we use it in a stunning, exciting way. Prepare yourself, for you are going to gaze at something original. We present you a different sort of book. We present you the ' 61 Tracer.
