PAUL FISCHER Industrial Arts Fish, one of the shy members of our class, was always found with the guys. Although he was small, he was one of the standouts on our wrestling team. He could usually be found working on his Plymouth, which he runs in the drags. Paul ' s ambition is to be a tool and diemaker or mechanic. Band 1,2; Wrestling 4. PETER V. FRITSCH Academic Here comes our guy with the twinkle in his eye and the spring in his step. Why! ... It ' s Wictaah, who loves to dance anything from the Charleston to the Twist. Saturday nights usually finds Peter hoe- downing or ice skating with the gang. Peter excels in playing the piano and often entertained us during play practices. Also excellent in the art field, Peter plans to major in art at college. Class Play 3,4; Chorus 1; Class V. Pres. 1; German Club 1,3; Bio- geography 2; Tracer Staff 4, Ass. Editor. GERALDINE M. GAMLER Commercial Gerry was an active member of the F.H.A., and also its ardent treasurer because she was always counting the money. Her fondest dream was to go on an F.H.A. sponsored shopping trip. Gerry was always willing to render her services for our school. Her endeavors are sure to pay off as being a secretary. Library Club 1; F.H.A. 2, Sec. 3, Treas. 4. 23

JAMES DUNN Academic Jim, who entered B.H.S. as a junior, was always ready, willing, and able to display his catchy drum beat in dance band or the combo he plays with. His pet peeve was homework and he could usually be found flooring his hot blue and white Ford or . . . ah . . . falling asleep in P.O.D. It ' s Anchors Away for our boy Jim. Band 3,4; Dance Band 3,4; Class Play 3,4. BARRY L. EPTING Commercial Barry has seemed to inherit the title: star fuel pump attendant, from his older brother, for Barry is employed at Hertzog ' s Gas Sta- tion. Whenever Barry smiles, it ' s the sign that he and Gehringer, are cooking up something. So he can learn some more tricks of the trade, Barry intends to enlist in the Navy. Band 1,2,3,4; Stage Crew 3; Tracer Staff 4. ELAINE M. FEGELY Elaine, dubbed Fegelv, was our girl with a smile that never fades; hence her other nickname: Sunshine. Elaine, a cheerleader since 7th grade, was usually found fighting for cheerleaders ' rights. Driven by her desire to help people and her interest in school Elaine wants to become an R.N. at Reading Hospital. Cheerleading 1,2,3.4; Hockey 1,2,3,4; Softball L.2,3,4; Band 1,2, 3,4; Dance Band 1,2,3,4; Class Treas. 1; Chorus 1,2,3,4; Class Play 3,4; Tracer Staft 4, Photo. WILLIAM C. GEHRINGER Bill seemed most at home when roaming the basketball court, guarding the soccer goal, or hanging around first base. Although he was president of the Varsity Club, sports weren ' t his only interest. He served successfully as Class President during both his Junior and Senior years. We are sure he will be just as successful in whatever career he enters. Basketball 1,2,3,4; Baseball 1,2,3,4; Soccer 1,2,3,4; Varsity Club 2,3, Pres. 4; Band 1,2,3,4; Class President 3,4; Tracer Staff 4. JEAN A. GEIGER Commercfal People with red hair are usually dubbed Red, and Jean was no exception. Although quiet in class, Jean ' s solid taps during volley- ball games were easily heard. Always willing to serve B.H.S., Jean participated in chorus and ushered at several school events. We are sure Jean will succeed as a file clerk. Service Club 3,4; Business Club 2; German Club 1; Tracer Staff 4; Chorus 2,3.4; Softball 1. JOHN R. GOULDNER General Academic John enjoyed participating with his trumpet or voice in prac- tically every musical activity sponsored by the school. When not working at his auto mechanic job, driving and tinkering with his 51 ' 238 cu. in. Chevy took up most of his spare time. John ' s future plans are to work as a mechanic or automobile body man. Band 1,2,3,4; Dance Band 1,2,3,4; Chorus 3,4; Glee Club 3,4.
