G Surf's u ! Han Ten! Sun's out! CLUB P 8 Let's go! The Surfing Club was form- ed to give interested students tips on buying boards and using them safely. Mr. Bell and Mrs. Linehan, club sponsors, were assisted by the club of- ficers in providing leadership. Paul Pimentil served as president, Danny Cameron as vice-president, David Gill as treasurer, Laurie Bosso as historianfreporter, and Jennifer Armstrong as secretary. The Pep Club, advised by Mrs. Linehan and Miss Schatz fosters school spirit, encourages student support of school athletics, and assists the cheerleaders in boosting team morale. The Pep Club's activities include at- tending all athletic events and making gold Pep Club vests and hand-held shakers. The affirmative team proposes a change in the status quo Cpresent systeml, while the negative team points out the disadvantages. The 1979-80 Brandon Debate Team practiced all year with its coach, Dr. Bailey, for two tournaments, one held in January and one in April.
