Performing for the school. The band, in colorful blue and gold uniforms, presented ,selectionsiii from its 'Ihesday night Christmas concert for the school at an assembly the Wednesday before Christmas break. The 'tprogi-am: included such traditional favorite as a medley of carols and An Old :English Christmas. Brandon's band and orchestra, under the direction of John Hamilton, promote an interest in music in two ways. First, they promote the enjoyment of music by allowing individual students to grow musically by listening and participating. Secondly, they foster school and community spirit. The band performs half-time field shows during football games, marches in parades, presents three concerts a year, and participates in state-sponsored events and competition.
